Call for Posters

We invite your submission of proposed poster abstracts at The 2009 Great Lakes Islands Symposium to be held on Beaver Island, Michigan.

If accepted, posters will be displayed on Friday, August 28 thru Sunday, August 30, 2009. All poster submissions must complete the following form. Posters are required to highlight research or projects involving island conservation or enhance our understanding of island ecosystems within the Great Lakes basin.

Poster presenters must be registered attendees of the symposium. A $25 travel voucher will be sent to all registered attendees 10 days before the Symposium. One discount per presenter, please. Participants need to be available with their posters on Saturday, August 29 from 1:15-2:00 p.m. for questions.

Submission Deadline: June 15, 2009.

Notification of acceptance will occur no later than July 1, 2009.

Poster submissions may be submitted electronically with with the form below (Attachments in Microsoft Word or PDF to be emailed separately to gilli1jc@cmich.edu).

Submissions will also be accepted by standard Canadian / US mail. Please mail completed submission form to:
