Clean Boats, Clean Waters Training Sessions Scheduled
More than 200 boaters learned more about preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species during the pilot program Clean Boats, Clean Waters conducted in several Michigan lake communities during the 2006 boating season.
After being trained, volunteers stationed at launch sites provided boaters with information about aquatic invasive species and materials that describe a few simple steps they can take to make sure their watercraft is AIS-free.
