Join us on this cruise to observe Lake St. Clair marsh restoration, learn about the HEART lab (Huron to Erie Alliance for Research and Training) and its activities, and travel out to the Old South Channel Range Lights to see how restoration of the lighthouses has created an ideal nesting island for the threatened Common Tern.

Celebrate Macomb County’s Bicentennial as we look back at what life was like around Lake St. Clair 200 years ago. From the first people of the region to the European fur traders, explorers, and settlers, we will learn how the natural history of Lake St. Clair influenced the human history and use of this magnificent lake.
