On Wednesday, October 12, Michigan Sea Grant hosted a one-day workshop for university researchers and policy practitioners interested in the program’s biennial request for proposals (RFP) on Integrated Assessment. The RFP will be released in mid-January 2006.
The purpose of the workshop was to introduce the research community to the methodology of Integrated Assessment which is a formal approach to synthesizing and delivering relevant, independent scientific input to decision making through a comprehensive analysis of existing natural and social scientific information in the context of a policy or management questions.
Information delivered at the workshop is provided in a virtual context below. If you have any questions regarding the presentations or the Biennial RFP, please contact Jennifer Read.
