Explore Fisheries Learning on the Web (FLOW)
FLOW is a comprehensive curriculum about the Great Lakes ecosystem with three core units: Food Web, Water and Fish. Geared toward upper elementary and middle school educators, standards-based lesson content features hands-on activities. Lesson materials include:

  • Specific educational objectives, based on standards and benchmarks. See Standards and Benchmarks Overview.
  • Assessment tools, based on learning objectives. See Assessment Overview.
  • Fun and engaging downloadable materials, such as an invasive species board game, a dichotomous key, and land use game and fish cards.
