Fostering School and Community Partnerships in the Great Lakes

Nearly 40 school representatives, community educators, and community partners met in Northeast Michigan in November of 2007 to explore place-based education opportunities and potential partnerships. This regional discussion resulted in networking, resource sharing, and planning opportunities designed to advance youth development through Great Lakes and aquatic education and stewardship opportunities in Michigan’s northeast region.
