Works with coastal communities and businesses in northeast Michigan to apply science-based knowledge to address Great Lakes and northern Lake Huron issues. Also focuses on Great Lakes education. Counties include Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Alpena, Alcona, Iosco, Arenac and Bay.

  • Fisheries resource specialist and southeast Michigan field representative for Michigan United Conservation Clubs, 1998-2002
  • Staff member, 4-H Great Lakes and Natural Resources Camp, based at Camp Chickagami (near Rogers City)
  • Fisheries program assistant, Michigan State University Department of Fisheries and Wildlife
