Role
To plan and coordinate the administrative and operational activities of MSG with broad authority to make commitments, e.g., assign Chartcombination to appropriate expenditures, and approve contract and service work orders, within designated areas of responsibility.

Budgeting and budget projections
Process awards and monitor research projects
Preparing financial statements
Research/administration database
Provide guidance to principal investigators on proposal preparation including budgets
Professional Experience
Preparing and administering budgets and grant applications, proposals and status reports
Knowledge of university policies and procedures, including human resources, payroll and financial operations
Resource management planning and oversight and coordination with institutional accounting processing
Conduct in-service web/electronic grant platform training program for research/administrative staff
Fiscal control over funds received from various sources, e.g., foundations, and federal/state contracts and grants.
