Professional Experience
Co-Chair, Downriver Linked Greenways Initiative since 2003. Fostering collaboration between 21 Wayne County communities.
Co-Founder and board member of the International Wildlife Refuge Alliance, a non-profit organization created to support the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge with environmental education & outreach, natural areas preservation and cooperative conservation initiatives in coastal communities in the Lower Detroit River and Western Lake Erie.
Steering committee member for the Detroit Heritage River Water Trail, creating a Master Plan for non-motorized watercraft travel along Metropolitan Detroit’s waterways.
Featured speaker at the 2005 White House Conference on Cooperative Conservation.
