Support Great Lakes Education, Outreach and Research
You may support Michigan Sea Grant, a joint program of the University of Michigan (U-M) and Michigan State University MSU), by giving to U-M or MSU. See instructions and links to the right (Online Giving).
Michigan Sea Grant brings together diverse stakeholders to develop a shared vision and work toward science-based solutions to Michigan’s coastal challenges. The program integrates Great Lakes research, outreach, and education to help our stakeholders respond to issues related to coastal businesses and economies (or human activities along the coast), aquatic habitat protection and enhancement, fisheries management, invasive species prevention and control, and many others.
Mission
Michigan Sea Grant supports research, outreach, and education to enhance the sustainable use of Great Lakes resources to benefit the economy, the environment, and quality of life.
Vision
Healthy and sustainable Great Lakes resources achieved through an integrated program that engages universities, governments, citizens, and industries.
