Discussing the Future of Michigan's Port Communities

Representatives of Michigan's Great Lakes ports will discuss proposals key to the success of Michigan's port communities at the third Michigan Port Collaborative Summit Oct. 28-29 in Lansing. Lt. Gov. John Cherry will present the keynote address at the event co-sponsored by Michigan Sea Grant and 13 other state agencies and organizations.

Presentations will focus on trends and opportunities in Great Lakes port communities, setting an agenda for Michigan cargo port communities, advancing goals of Michigan small harbors, and effective regional port partnerships.
